The Horticulture Garden covers five hectares, and it was designed by Jean-Charles Alphand (1817-1891), creator of the Paris parks of Buttes-Chaumont, Montsouris and Monceau. It is composed both in the French style and English style. The section of the French Garden has a rose garden, a terraced walk planted with 4 rows of old lime trees almost 100 years old. The section in the English style opens out after going through a rock garden. Its winding avenues will take you to the lake and its ancient trees, some of which are really remarkable.
