Le Logis de Moullins is a unique IVth and IVIth Century architectural complex comprising a manor house, a castle chapel, an old monastery building and service quarters. It also comprises paintings of German prisoners in the service quarters.
The restoration of the Logis de Moullins Twenty-five years of painstaking restoration since Kathryn Favre, originally from Great Britain, have started to restore the ancient summer house (15th century) of the Couture monks. This place boasts very rich furnishings. They’ve carefully pulled an altarpiece out, which has been hidden in the wall of the barn for centuries. It has the engraving of Martin de Beaune Semblancy, one of the monks, and dates back to 1522. Mr and Mrs Favre consider their work is endless. They need at least 5 years to finish the outside of the chapel, and at least 6 years for the conventual building.
