Ray Toombs is English and lives in Sarthe just 20 minutes from the Le Mans 24 Hours circuit! The artist works only in watercolour, being lucky enough to work from his studio at home.
He gives regular art lessons and runs a small number of courses in the summer months. He exhibits regularly in the region, both alone and in conjunction with other artists, and loves to paint the cars from the Le Mans race - many of the paintings have been signed by the drivers and several have been bought by them and other team members!
